This has long struck me as a curious bit of wordplay:
In moments of ecstasy, awe, or shock, we humans naturally tend to utter the words, “Oh my God!!” - or “OMG!” for short.
But break that down phonetically, and it can easily be re-written this way:
“Ommm — I, God!!”
Funny thing, language.

Love this. ah eye aye eee eye is the throat chakra sound. oh is solar plexus and pronounced the way we usually pronounce this word, gahd is ah, heart. Your name Ray is third eye...rather appropriate wouldn't you say? The toning of vowel sounds is an ancient practice in Egypt and elsewhere including Celtic Druids. Lakota is one of the most vowel centered languages I know apart from the romance languages, especially Spanish. English has lost the old vowel pronunciations over centuries of other influences.
