Shortly after first getting into astrology many decades ago, I looked at the horoscope of a friend which showed a Grand Cross pattern (which is when there are four squares, or 90-degree angles spread out across the wheel); I thought to myself, “The poor guy…” After all, that’s an awful lot of square and opposition energy - right?
This was so encouraging to read. I recently looked into my twins charts and they have Grand Cross, Rectangle and T-square. I was disheartened to say the least but just maybe they will turn out to be strong and resilient 🤞
"The real challenge arises in striking the right balance between these." Love this, so true. I have T-square w/ missing leg in 4th, but also trines and sextiles. My first astrologer was very demonstrative and rather mean and made things sound like hellfire and brimstone. I later learned that people who have all 'agreeable' aspects may have lucky lives, but also lives that seem quite conventional. I feel I've grown into my chart and have accepted the bad with the good. Thanks for this post.
Thanks a lot for this fascinating post and the very useful analogies. My Gemini twin girls have a cardinal grand cross involving Moon Venus Mars and Jupiter and yes they are lively, risk prone, impatient but also resilient and proactive !! Luckily as you mention - they are helped by a nice trine of Saturn-Moon-Asc in earth signs which ground and make conncrete their wild projects !

I’m really enjoy your writing. That was quite timely. I was looking at my chart quite intensely last night.
